So Warbasse is upset about Guerriero not working in the break and then winning?

Larry is experienced enough to know that’s how the game is played....like it or not.

EF has to feel good about how all this has unfolded. One more second on Etna and they'd still be in pink (but probably would not have gotten a second stage win today).

I was going to post something but didn't want it to get locked. All of Michelton-Scott and 6 other riders are out as well.

I bet the riders/teams who were gonna do Paris-Roubaix are happy they didn't have to race right now.

I think this really highlighted how lucky the Tour de France "bubble" was. Imagine if Jumbo had to leave the Tour in the second week? And seems likely to me that once you get this many positives inside the bubble, it's only a matter of time before we see more. I'm skeptical the race will go to completion.

It will become more difficult as the Giro heads further north. That's where the virus has its strongest hold in Italy.

Several riders have complained that the Giro organizers were not as diligent as the TdF organization in keeping the riders and team staff sequestered from the public:

I'm behind on Giro 'news'..No surprise tho..riders close, lots of 'stuff' being passed around during the races. We'll see if the 'Giro' finishes at all.

And, yes, you see that the bubble has been broken. Mitchelton-Scott which had one case three days ago, had four before the start of the day’s stage. And the entire team and staff tested negative after their first test was revealed. So, today two teams pulled out. And between now and the next rest day, it is not unreasonable to expect others to follow suit. I don’t even know if it is a question of, ‘should the race continue.’ It just might not be possible.
Yup, get exposed, get tested soon theeafter..negative and 2 days later, positive..Why you should quarantine for 10 days or so after being 'exposed'..

Today was an exciting stage. Not sure why Almeida's teammate was leading out Ulissi though. He should have peeled off sooner to leave U in the wind and A on his wheel, and then he gets angry after the finish line because A didn't get maximum time bonuses. Stupid.

Vegni was seething today, and I fully agree with him. An outrageous manipulation of the race by Sunweb, aided and abetted most probably by Quickstep and Movistar.
