I think these pedal anchors are the best at saving space and displaying bikes. With the overlap you can fit 3 bikes on a 9ft wall.

But I can't figure out how to store my bikes. I had monkey bars with hooks at the old house hanging with the wheels perpendicular to the wall, but I don't have room for that setup here. I just can't find a setup I really like. I have looked at a high shelf with hooks, a slatted wall with hooks, but nothing feels right.

Try the rubbermaid system.

I've posted before about using the Velohinge--the perfect answer for my narrow space because it lets you rotate the bike into the wall somewhat. This was the first one up--I managed to fit a set of 4 into the little alcove.

I have this (Topeak), but use 4 holders so I have bikes on both sides.

When I had a garage, I just used the old hooks screwed into the ceiling holding front and rear.

So the bikes hang ok without the use of the wheel guides? Thinking about installing a few of these and would like to avoid them. After doing a hand test by holding a couple bikes by the crank/pedal against the wall, it should work for at least some of my bikes.

Paceliners favorite bike hangers

^ Right. I got lucky with the top bike - it’s balanced. The bottom bike has its front wheel on a small ledge. I’d use the tire ledge if needed, but paint it to match the wall. I’ve also seen homemade ledges of wood that are more subtle than the metal ones that come with the pedal anchor. The tire ledge won’t be holding much weight and so can be quite small.

My wife and I recently moved apartments and there aren’t great options for hanging on the plaster walls in the new place. Got this for her bike instead and it’s surprisingly stable, easy to load, and takes up minimal space. Affordable as well and easily moveable.

Called the instant upright bike stand. Got it from Hammacher Schlemmer but sure it’s out here on the webs.

This looks great. Do you mind sharing the hooks that you're using to hang your wheels?

Need to get my wheels off the ground.

I don't use this product, but thought you might want to consider it.

Similar to the one posted by alexihnen but with wheel tracks

I was having the same storage issue and tried the Gladiator track system and hooks. Works great and can be adjusted as needed.

Yea, same idea. Wheel tracks are available with the Venzo product as well, but I went ahead and ordered a pair of the hooks only. My TT bike, for example, has a big weight bias in the front, but I can probably figure out a way balance it out without the tracks. I'm temporarily renting after a big move, so I want to minimize drilling. A few screws in the studs are ok.
