Arkansas anybody's MTB destination?

Can't even spell 'MTB' but this sounds really amazing..

What kind of front suspension is on that rig in the picture?

Not sure about the fork, but this is supposed to be the hot spot! My buddies went there over the summer and the videos looked awesome! Lots of big air.

I'm not a mountain biker but I went to Bentonville earlier this year. Was going to go again before my accident. The Walton Foundation is dumping millions of dollars into both road and MTB trails.

A couple of co workers retired to Fayetteville jut for the MTB riding.

I'm pretty sure it is a Lauf linkage fork like this one:https://www.laufcycling.com/?gclid=C...0aAl93EALw_wcB

I spoke to a guy the other day who rode Betonville this past summer. What he described sounded pretty sweet. According to him there are pump tracks strewn throughout downtown. The art museum is supposed to be really good as well.

That's the Trust fork. It's not cheap, but gets rave reviews. https://trustperformance.com/

And I'm headed to Bentonville in the spring. It looks amazing, and completely worthy of its destination status. As much as I hate Walmart, they sure did pour a ton of money into their hometown.

There's good riding in Arkansas is not limited to Bentonville. There's lots of other great trails in the Ozarks.

Are the Walton grandsons actively involved in Walmart at this point?

It's not just Northwest Arkansas. There are good trails around Hot Springs and a few good ones near Little Rock.

Steuart is on the board.

And, uh, Walmart money bankrolls their entire effort to make Bentonville into the bike paradise they want it to be.

Whether they're involved in day to day operations or not, all of this effort stands on the shoulders of the family's work to ruin large swaths of the American economy for their own benefit.

Oh yeah a Trust fork good call.

Yeah I'm no W-mart fan either but at least they are building trails and getting more people into cycling. Has Amazon (Bezos) done anything like that? The only thing I know they are actively involved in is creating a spaceship to punch out before the Earth finally falls apart.

These two have a portfolio that's a little more diverse than what Grandpa Sam built. If they aren't involved in the operations of Walmart I'm inclined to cut them a little slack. Besides they're pouring millions into our collective hobby, why are you trying to run them off?

Heard a lot about it, might go next year

Oddly, it seems like velonews has an article about it like every day. Wonder if the Waltons bought them, too?

As an aside, I rode will his dad, Rob, years ago in PHX. He was fast as hell. He was part of the 'Champions Club'. Bennett Dorrance was another one who I rode with a few times.

For guys as rich as sin, they were actually pretty nice to converse with.

At least they aren't building golf courses.
