Thought it'd be fun to try gravel riding with some deep section wheels I typically use for road rides. I put some 40mm WTB Byways on my 56mm LightBicycle wheels, so far no issues with this "Aero Gravel" wheel setup

Just rough as hell. I’m now preferring a light aluminum rim on gravel vs my ENVE aero’s.

My experience with some brands like ENVE and Reynolds aero road wheels is that they ride harsh compared to other brands.

Are you referring to gravel riding only or on-road as well?
