Glendora Mountain/Ridge roads are still among my favorites. Lovely views of Mt. Baldy, first from the GMR/GRR saddle and then from Baldy Village (excellent homemade cinnamon rolls to fuel the second half of the ride there).

Lovely pictures, I thought it might be Germany. I lived in Karlshure in 1980-82 and truly loved it. It always surprised me how much open space, farm lands,cool back roads there. So could you tell us about the two monuments in the pictures, especially the last one?

the monument on the hill is the "Hohburkersdorfer Rundblick", a Worldwar I memorial



and the second one is a memorial of Richard Wagner at the "Liebethaler Grund" with a long history

Moss is much more attractive than spray-paint. Those sites wouldn't stay unmolested here.
