Tyler's teammates defence?
Has anyone heard how Santiago Perez is battling the same charges? Is he claiming a possible vanishing twin too?
Any update on the 3rd Phonak rider to test positive last season Oscar Camonzind? |

Camenzind tested positive for EPO. He admitted it and promptly retired. Different case altogether.

I don't believe he showed up to contest the ruling.

Camenzind . . .
. . . admitted using EPO and immediately retired.
Perez was planning to contest his accusations--but then the UCI and WADA moved up the date of his hearing in such a way that he had no time to prepare. He was essentially railroaded becuse he did not have the financial or friendship resources that Hamilton did. I believe he got a two-year suspension. His only saving grace may be that he is young enough to come back after the four years that he would be suspended from ProTour participation. BBDave

Yeah, poor Perez. Hamilton and him were complaining that their hearings were too far in the future so they moved it up and then he couldn't get his proof of innocence in time. Can't have it both ways, boys!
