Good riding weather is finally here!

Yesterday was 99 and it looks like it will be over 97 for the next 5 days with no rain in sight. Good riding weather in North Texas has finally arrived! The smell of melting tar on your tires from the asphalt really makes you want to put in an extra 25 - 30 miles this Saturday.

Yeah well....

After finally getting acclimated to the 95+ degree heat & humidity at the Open house and Monday and Tuesday here in RI, yesterday it dropped into the 50's and I actually wore arm warmers on my ride. Come on. Mid June and I'm wearing arm warmers...sheesh!

JK. I got to ride so that's what counts. Still weird to be in the 50's in June.

Hot and sticky, yeah....

Good riding weather, what?

What's that?

I used my arm warmers a whopping seven days here and there this winter and since May ended it has been in the high 80's here... Now everyday is 75+ % humidity!!!!

I don't know what you boys where crying about at the open house!!!!

You live down here and you feel like a frog on and off yer bike

I thought you used to live in Oregon?

(we've had a crappy beginning to summer, if you can call it that.)

Beautiful weather

We have had excellent riding weather. Today was 75, sunny, and little or no wind. I rode 47 miles with a friend to a dairy and we ate ice cream outside under an umbrella. Perfect day. The rest of the week in Cinci looks to be as good. Unbelievable because it's usually hot & humid as the devil or raining.

Spinsistah...

It's just those kinda comments that'll get you drummed out of this here forum. Smarten up!

I'm a little crabby, I got caught in a monsoon riding home from work and had to call the mrs. to come scoop me. 10 paltry miles is all I got...jeez.

What !!!!!!!!!! You stopped riding because of a little rain ??
Kevan I'm so disappointed. I thought since you owned a Calfee you were made of sterner stuff. You even own a Serotta and you still stopped.
My goodness don't move to Oregon, Sandy would miss you too much.

Dave -Who has lived in Oregon for 25 years and who is tired of the rain and wants summer to start. Right now it is dumping rain as I am in the middle of cleaning my rain bike for the weekend.-- sigh
