Chorus 11 cranksets

Is it just me, or are Chorus 50-34, 172.5 11 speed cranksets pretty much impossible to find? I want switch from a 52-36 crankset, but even chain rings to make that change seem to be hard to find.

Any suggestions?

They are. I bought one nos last year and was basically msrp from when it was new. They are just hard to find now or not cheap. I mean I get it, the 4 arm crank is just not as good looking

Post a want to buy ad on the classified. Make sure you mention 4 or 5 arms design. I’m pretty sure the 12 speed crankset will work with 11 speed set up.

I have exactly what you are looking for and am willing to part with it, but need it replaced with the 170mm version and so the cycle continues…good luck to you.

true but the campy rings so much nicer

I guess I have been preparing myself for this moment so I got myself a spare crank and spare rings as well.

I ordered a Campy 11 52/36 in silver with my Cinelli and they sent a 50/34 b/c the mid compacts are all back ordered. I inquired with Cicli Corsa about chain rings and they estimate spring or summer 2023. Crazy.

I ended up buying 52/36 to switch from 53/39 from these folks in July:
https://www.starbike.com/en/campagno...1-speed-4-arm/

Worked out well for me and looks like they have 50/34 ready to ship.

Thanks. The last time I checked they didn’t have 50 tooth cassettes

Yes - buy one of these: https://www.totalcycling.com/en/Camp...t/m-24678.aspx

Then throw a 50t TA ring on it or buy the OE

The H11 uses 12 speed chainrings. The 11 speed won’t fit.

Nope - that's not correct.

I went through this and believe me, it was a costly mistake. The 11 speed chainrings will not fit on the H11 arms.

Check out the two pictures with the red arrows. The chainrings are different in design. The H11 chainrings are more in line with the 12 speed design. I’m pretty sure there was a 11 to 12 speed production run difference.

Not here to start any arguments but helping.

Can confirm that some campy rings, even with the same BCD, arent cross-compatible with certain campy cranks of a similar generation.

Interesting... I emailed TA to ask if their X145 ring would work on the H11 crank. I have an H11 on one of my bikes and wouldn't mind changing out the rings to a 50/34. I guess the good news is that H11 isn't widely known, so the actually Campy 50t ring ought to be cheap.
