I have a couple 27.0 mm seatpost bikes so I actually have a little collection of 27.0 seatposts. I agree that the Nitto is as good option, I have it on one bike. Anyways, I have a two-bolt Suntour 27.0 XC Pro seatpost (just like this outrageously priced one https://www.ebay.com/itm/394097977824) that I don’t anticipate using, let me know if you want it and we can work something out.

I have always found those Ritchey posts to have good adjustment for most saddles when set close to horizontal. Are you trying to achieve a certain saddle angle with the cradle in a forward or rear position? A cradle does have to slide along the arc of the post to alter saddle angle.

The saddle rails in your picture looks scary bent.

Any suggestions for silver, setback, 27.0 seatposts, with good angle adjustment? I like the Thompson elite/masterpiece, but they only seem to come in black for 27.0.

Edit: if nothing else I'm learning a lot about the older standards
I have a Campy Record (old Record) 27.0 seatpost with 25mm of setback, in the box. That said, it's only 210mm or so and it isn't the most economical option. PM me if you're interested.

Best aluminum seatpost our there IMO.
Recently bought a Masterpiece and was impressed with the weight, looks and quality.
