The color is pretty difficult to capture in photos but that’s pretty close.
I just love Kvales' aesthetic. There are three custom bikes I want right now, and too much overlap between them: (1) Ellis Strada SLX, (2) Kirk Onesto JKS-X, and (3) CKC lugged roadie...

Sounds very similar to what I’m thinking and mine is in JB’s possession. ...waiting for that call! Actually, I’m still deciding between something red or pearl white.

Looking forward to seeing yours when it’s finished!!

I’m biased but I don’t think there’s a better builder/painter out there than Kvale. But yes, that’s an impressive trio.

Battaglin MAX

I found this Battaglin with MAX tubing through a PSA here last fall. So I took it apart and had the frame/fork powder coated locally, $100 complete. Built it up with a 10 sp Shimano 7900 group and Ultegra wheels. Weighs is right at 20lb. I like it very much, in fact I sold a MXL because I prefer this over the Merckx. Enjoying the quiet roads on this one currently

Sweet ride! Paint looks good from here. Way less than what I just paid.

Here's a couple of pics of my lugged bikes. Nothing too exciting but have to say my lugged frames always last longer in my quiver than lugless tig frames.

Not my frame below but love these japanese lugs
