Glad you are OK.

But, that is one serious wrinkle. What are you planning to get for your next n=1?

thanks... and honestly, i'll probably just get another mr pink. before i went and folded it, it was really a great bike. i rode it through busy city streets, bike paths, huge colorado mountain climbs, gravel, and (occasionally/slowly) actual singletrack. it's a super versatile bike, and prior to this morning, never gave me a lick of trouble. it's not that light, but it was comfortable all the time. high-end enough that i could make a run at some PRs on a ride, but low-end enough that i could feel comfortable locking it up outside a brewery for a couple hours.

and the fact that the 10th anniversary edition JUST got released a day or so ago makes me think that the universe is trying to tell me something

Sounds good. Just noticed we're in the same area. In the interest of not derailing this thread, I will take it offline and ask you where you had your incident.

We might have passed each other a time or two when out riding.

Nothing fancy like some of you guys...darn!

Anyway I have several steel bikes:

My touring bike is a 85 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe which rides really comfortable when loaded.
My now favorite steel ride is a 84 Fuji Club.
My other steel bikes are: 85 Trek 660; 83 Schwinn Voyageur; 87 Dawes Galaxy frame and fork and few other parts; 87 Giant Rincon.
I sold my 87 Miyata Team and the 88 Miyata 712, as well as the 07 Mercian Vincitore Special.

My favorite bike that I ride mostly is the Lynskey Peloton which is titanium which I think rides better the steel bikes...sorry guys, but comfort is the most important thing to a guy 65 years old and getting older.

A local shop here has sold two of these framesets (red colorway), they looked great built up. Awesome job on your build on the blue one, nice!

I would give up my Colnago for this. Great build. Love the paint. I have a Tecno Xtra that is pretty sweet and would love to have a Tecno. Looks like my size.....
