Vecchio’s is a beautiful store. It planted a seed for me years ago when I only rode MTB. Thanks for that!

I love me a tough guy! Hard to pull off in cycling kit. Glad you got those Rapha snobs sorted out. BTW, which tights did you end up choosing?

And not tough but online we do know that many people, hiding behind anonymity, feel free to say to things they never would in person. |

Crazy to think that what happened in this thread was bullying or mocking. Paceline is sometimes off but everyone behaved here with maybe a little joking around. Definitely stay away from the youtube comment section.
Good that you went back and gave a second chance, I think people need to do that more often because people do have off days and maybe a store that has 5 employees and only 1 sucks. |

I haven’t visited the NYC Rapha store but I did enjoy a long walk to Maglia Rosa once. Ogled the bikes, bought a pastry.

I have been there a few times and they were very helpful. Great store.
To be fair, I have encountered the vibe you are describing in a few bike shops and drum shops/music stores (drumming is the yang to my cycling ying). I plan on going back in the next few weeks for some long sleeve jerseys, I will report back on the vibe. |

This sums it up There are some employees from the Meatpacking still at the soho store. However the quality of the products has gone down and the prices are high. Add in the moneyed NYC cycling snobs that often overrun the place and you're better off ordering online if you are dead set on the brand.
