Your Riding Videos Go Here

Here's a quick one for you all from the Tennessee State Championship MTB race yesterday. Beautiful trail, plus they're put thousands of hours into new trail features.

Quick because I had the whole shot and crashed about 2 minutes into the race. Broken collarbone content at the end. Just wanted to tell you in case anyone isn't into that sorta thing.

I'm sorry about your crash. It looks like your rear tire slid out on the flat rock. Bummer!

Thanks Kevin. I think it was the combo of that rock, too much speed and riding the wide line, where there just wasn't any extra turf for the front tire.

Mammoth MTB Trails in Chaska, MN

Mammoth MTB Park in Chaska, MN is best experienced the first time or two with a friend who knows the way. Reid was that friend for me today.

A video from a recent ride with a few friends starting/ending from the Poughkeepsie Metro North station and riding into Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State park.

Embarrassingly Stupid OTB Crash

I had an embarrassingly stupid OTB crash yesterday afternoon along the Minnesota River trails. I thought I could roll through an eroded section of the trail rather than going around it as other smarter riders had. There was just enough of a lip to abruptly stop my front wheel while allowing my momentum to carry the rest of my bike and me over the ditch landing squarely on my chest and face. My better half strongly encouraged me to get checked out at Urgent Care due to the blood thinner I'm on and our concern for unseen internal bleeding. A good amount of pain last night and still today but nothing is broken so I'm happy about that.🥂

Hey, Kevin. Saw 'internal bleeding' while quickly scanning your posts, and cringed with fear that you were hurt badly. Glad that's not the case.

I'm up in Monticello. Got down to those Chaska Mammoth trails a couple summers ago... nice tracks there.

Hey, if you ever want to come up and ride Bertram Lakes MTB Park (4 miles from my doorstep), I'd be happy to show you around!

Carluscci — I've never ridden those trails so, yes, that would be great! How many miles of singletrack are there at Bertram? The name is definitely familiar to me.

I think 13 in total. There is only a little bit more room for expansion, but it is a nice park, good varied terrain, and extremely well maintained. I would say on par with Mammoth in Chaska. Not a ton of climbing, but that is to be expected in the TC area. Leave me a PM if you want to come up. I am free weekends.
