CSi roll call...post your serial numbers

The thread on decoding serial numbers got me thinking about the serial numbers for the CSi and I was curious to see what collection of them we have from the forum members. So post your serial numbers along with the date your CSi was built. Of course pictures of your CSi would be a bonus.

I have two:
o '95/'96 stock - CS 54L 272
o '04 custom fillet brazed with sloping top tube - CCS 55.5 2314

Here's some older pictures of mine and both bikes have had some changes since these were taken...

Fine, make me feel like an underachiever. I wonder if the "he has more csi's than me" argument will work with my wife...

This CSI is no help but I am going to post it anyway.

2005 Kelly Bedford CSI
62 cm st with 1 degree slope
58.5 cm tt

I don't think it has a serial number; it is in Seattle boxed to be shipped to AZ for the winter and I will check again when I open it.

1996-97 Csi

My CSI was ordered in late 1996 and I took delivery of the frame and F1 fork in January 1997. The serial number is CS-56-808. It's a 56 x 56 stock frame.

As an additional note that goes along with the broken seat lug thread, mine broke in late 2008. Serotta repaired the frame and repainted it. I took delivery in May 2009. The attached pix are of a previous paint job, after I had Serotta replace the top tube cable stops and repaint in early 2007.

http://forums.thepaceline.net/showth...&highlight=csi

During the original repair/repaint, it was discovered that the original F1 fork had developed a slightly loose dropout. Serotta replaced that fork with an Ouzo Pro at no extra charge. The color was slightly darker than the original Midnight Blue. The current color is closer to the original-- seen in this thread, not built up.

Cs 57 817

My CSI going ashore in Port Angeles, WA. for an attempt on Hurricane Ridge.
This is 1997 vintage, bought from a forum member about seven years ago.
It has been ridden up and down both coasts and as far east as Singapore.
It presently resides in New Hampshire and will be receiving a group upgrade to used but good Record 10.

That's not a picture you see every day. BTW, are you sure yours is from '96? The '96 catalog shows all but the smallest sizes were long "L" which would be indicated in your serial number. My guess is that this is newer than '96.

Your right Keith, it is a 97. It has a Serotta 25th anniversary sticker on it. It isn't an anniversary special but was built in 97. Post is edited.

spiderman -- BTW, did you realize that this has custom geometry...which is what the first "C" in "CCS" indicates.

Man if you could read the logo that would be a photo for the catalog. Great picture.

The original picture has much better resolution than the one that fits the forum requirements. My photo shopping is about 1st grade level and this is the result.
