Whose got a 3Rensho?

I've been enjoying my 3Rensho on these solitary days (Serial# C29). Whose got one in their stable? Pics please! Always like seeing the different details/options on these frames.

I think in the past 15 years, I can only remember seeing two in my size for sale, one of which I really wish I'd splurged on ca. 2005-2006 and the other was priced too high. For anyone who cares, Cherubim is doing a run of 8 reproductions with the original parts and has teased about the possibility of possibly being able to do a few more in the future.

Here's a pair. The white bike is mine, the tandem isn't, but it's on eBay.

It drives me crazy when someone does this to a track bike to give it street cred; makes the bike almost unrideable.

I don't see the issue.. It's a NJS build. That's exactly how bikes raced on Keirin tracks in Japan looked.. Just missing the Yoshida Keirin white grips.

Street cred would be adding risers and a front Deep dish wheel or aerospoke.

I was not very specific. The whole NJS thing is pretty cool. I was referring to the saddle angle and stem selection. The saddle angle seems crazy to me; do they actually ride them that way? The stem makes sense if you're a dedicated sprinter/Keirin guy. I've just never saw anything remotely like this when riding on the track.

Yeah, that's how Keirin riders race in Japan. I've seen it in person when I went to Japan years ago. That's an actual Kashimax saddle (Butt hatchet) and 90 degree NJS Stem. They race extremely aggressive compared to US track racing.

About 10 years ago, when I was getting into road cycling more seriously, there was a 3rensho super record export with dura ace 7400 on Craigslist for $300. I was the second caller and wasn’t able to buy it. It’s the one that got away.

First time posting here and wanted to start the intro with this new/old bike build. Went for the retro-modern build for reliability and easy to source parts if needed. Still doing some minor adjustments with cockpit height. I typically slam my stems but this bike serves as my cruiser/club ride bike.

Specs:
3rensho Super Export 1983 I believe. Original owner purchased the frame from Yellow Jersey.
Full Chris King set up (hubs, bb, hs)
Cockpit/seat post from sim works
Shimano 105 R7000 groupset

Enjoy!

Well built! Great first post.

Now it needs some king iris cages. Nitto cages if you are feeling fancy.

Is a Cherubim an appropriate digression?
