Power was out at work so I rode 21 miles with 2600ft of climbing! 😁

I love this kinda S#!t.

People take pics like this so...

I'm at the corner of Elkins and Elkins.

Bears and fires, gotchya!

Put a 38t chainring on and spun my 39 year old, slow, 200lb body and 28lb bike up some hills.

....and back down.

I love all these pictures of the off-road rides. It looks like a lot of fun, unfortunately we don't have anything like that around here.

Brevard County, FL. Surf is decent (could be worse, but also could be much better), but not the best area for riding...road or off-road. The southern part of the county is still pretty empty, which is where I do most of my riding.

True, but unfortunately house prices are on the rise and they're building like crazy around here...stripping wooded areas left and right The large pasture area that was about 2 miles from my home is now a huge outdoor shopping area.

Had to stop and take a photo during my Saturday morning spin. The Garth Foss (the big tug in the middle) is an 8,000 HP goliath of a tractor, one of two built for tanker escorts by Foss for Puget Sound work. The Delta Lindsey is a smaller tractor tug originally from the SF Bay Area (to the right of the Garth) and the Lauren Foss is a big ocean towing tug with even more HP than the Garth. Both Duke (another Paceliner) and I have lots of experience getting "bumped" by the Garth and the Delta Lindsey over the years. Good times.
