Killers: My Own Souls Warning.

Brandon Flowers has his detractors. Not sure why. But he can craft some really good pop songs. And man, can he sing.

interesting...also going thru a NY phase! not to get political, but sometimes think we're forgetting Ohio. Hard to talk NY without getting political though. I never knew this, but apparently he's on the board of Lionel and has several patents under his name from there. Still, I'm more of an HO guy.

Tall Trees The acoustic side of Dave Alvin.

Harlan County Line The acoustic side of Dave Alvin.

They sound pretty good coming from a CD in an NAD CD player, a Denon receiver, and old Mirage speakers, in 2.1. The Eleven Eleven DVD, which contains the latter, is pretty good, too.

I was wondering why I have been familiar with their name for quite awhile, and likely have heard them during some listening sessions, yet do not currently have any of their albums.

This article reminded me in the first sentence. The DJ Bonobo tie in.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/15/a...mordechai.html

They have been building up a name for awhile but I am sure this NYT article last month gave them a good bump in visibility.
