Went shoe shopping!

Here's the first pair! Campy Bora One's! Best purchase I've made in a long time. Completely new bike. Amazing breaking power and the campy hubs spin forever!

16.1 lbs now too! Not to mention the brake pads match the red Waterford logos.... talk about accessorizing!

Why yes the buckle on a set of Bont Riots snapped as I was trying the first one on... (On good sale and really curious if the Bont fit will be good for me)

Late 70's/early 80's Colnago Super. Quite excited about this find and the repaint was done fairly well. Need to hobble together parts for the build.

Bought back my favorite bike after several years. Paid too much, but the bike means too much to me not to. Working on getting parts for it.

Oh also bought a bunch of china carbon wheels.

I got this for Christmas (it comes late around here) & I really like it. It easily handles my S7 phone in a case & I can use the screen through the plastic. It hasn't been hot here yet, so not sure how it feels against a sweaty back, but it just disappears on my back in the center pocket. It is snug in a few jerseys, but what I've worn so far it fit fine & was able to take the seat bag off the bike.

Like the exact bike? Tell us moar..

I once sold a steel Look to someone in Portland, moved away for a few years, and then went to go buy a brown steel frame bike off craigslist after moving back...on my way to the address I thought "huh, this is familiar"...sure enough, same dude, same bike...just painted for some reason... Still wish I had that one.

A Campagnolo Ultra Comp Crankset...

Merlin have them on sale for $195 or so, new in box.
Which at first sight is a great deal if you're looking to build up a 2013-ish super record-ish groupset.

HOWEVER.

They neglect to mention that Campy made them for one year only (According to the guy I spoke to at Campagnolo NA) and completely forgot or neglected to market them. (Another possible reason for them not selling well is that they named the technology 'Over-Torque' which is not exactly auspicious)
They also stopped making the tools for them same year, which are now impossible to find online. Except for one store in NZ who I'm hoping still have one left and it's not a stock error, and a single amazon seller who doesn't ship outside of Italy, and wants 250 Euro for it..

So far I've found one store in NYC that has the tools required to install the crankset, Conrad's so fingers are currently crossed, hoping the tool doesn't mysteriously vanish or break.
