you can get Aerothan's from Jenson's for under $25 and BTD just over 25 and they will match Jenson's price. I have over 5000 miles on a set and in 3 different tires and I have one that has been patched for like 3000 miles. I pulled the tire to check the patch the other day and no way that patch is ever coming off or leaking. I have two wheelsets and both have the aerothans and one wheel set I swap tires between gravel style tires and road tires depending on what I am doing and have never pinched one after several change overs. I did add a dap of super glue to the cores to keep them from coming loose which they did on occasion depending on what pump head I was using. If just using a presta pump that pushed on there was no issue but if I was using a schrader pump with screw on adaptor sometimes they would unscrew enough to leak.
