Years ago Aegis had a contest to name their new top-of-the-line road frame which was going to supplant the "Aro Svelte" below.
I wanted to win that contest, but I did not and cannot remember the model name which was selected. Then Aegis went o-o-b some years later I think, and now I often see unpainted (and bondo-packed at every joint) Aegis frames for sale on eBay, at very excessive prices. It is a bit disconcerting, to see the stark reality under the glowing mascara. |
