OT: Ray, how's your Bitcoin investment going?

I was going to post about the banana painting. Jump the shark indeed.

One of my "neighbors" is a bitcoin billionaire (so he says). He mostly lives in Puerto Rico, but his wife (ha - I forgot, it's actually his ex-wife as she's now married to his best friend and they all live and travel together - weird) has some connection to Vermont, so they bought a 4 million dollar house and barn that I built and renovated many times over the last 20 years. Long story short, they're never here. Like one weekend in 3 years. Meanwhile, the grass gets mowed, the heat and AC run, etc. I know second and third home ownership happens all the time, but not really where I live. It's sad to see such a nice house sit while many, many others have sub-optimal living conditions.

More of a rant than anything, but free money like this leads to buying bananas stuck on canvas and houses you don't use. I haven't met him yet, but his ex-wife and new husband are two of the most intolerable people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. There - rant over!

You can look him up if you want. He was one of the kids in the Mighty Ducks and ran an unsuccessful campaign for a Senate seat in Vermont. If you do find him, please find the picture of him in the hat. You'll know when you see it.
