Here are a couple from a nice low key, cold but lovely ride through the Boyce, Millwood, Rockland, and Guard Hill areas of Warren and Clarke County, VA, starting 'n finishing from Main Street in Front Royal.

Choncho Squirrel. Saw this and said 'Go ahead, fellas, I'll catch up.' Swooped around and took the picture.

Mass, that's a cool Colnago, very seasonal!

Today I took the binoculars with me and had some fun. There was a pretty heavy smudge on the binocular lens I was shooting through, which I didn't realize til I got home. It mars the pics a little bit, but I'm still really happy with these shots.
Shooting without a tripod and holding the camera and the nocs and trying to line everything up and remain stable is certainly a challenge! Maybe I should just go ahead and get a real camera with an awesome optical zoom lens soon...

This first picture is "The House on the Hill."

These next two are of the Browntown/Bentonville, VA area. You can see the Browntown Church, community center, and Rudacille Store slightly up-and-right of center in the second picture.

Here the smudge rears its smudgy head. This photo is of the Massanutten range.

These next few were taken from the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center field overlook. That's Massanutten in the background, and the Front Royal/Mountain Road area in the valley below.
