How will the typical Cybertruck driver behave, when it comes to sharing the road with cyclists?

Unfortunately, I think we already know the answer.

many rag on the looks of the Cybertruck, but I find it more interesting than the appearance of most pickups.

Chevy, Ford, Dodge units are not easy on the eyes. the whole giant road-beast, steroid-abuser styling is really off-putting to me.

as far as whether Teslatruck drivers will be kind to cyclists remains to be seen. I've had countless encounters with other brands of PUs, so they'll have to be really obnoxious to compete.

Have seen a few and I’m really disappointed that whoever is in charge of such things approved it for road use. Along with almost every other large pickup truck on the road. A death sentence for people in smaller cars, pedestrians and cyclists. Just abhorrent.

But they can burn rubber and probably can afford frequent tire replacement.
Watch out for those steel needles that flatten our tires.

Avanta! Gattca! Can we please get a photo of this car.

I occasionally see one in the wild around here. Scottsdale, with all of the formal an informal car shows, plus the weather, is a Mecca for vintage cars.

As I recall, the Avanta was the advanced design that was suppose to save Studebaker. There were many advance orders, but Studebaker had manufacturing issues, couldn't deliver the cars and folded.

I work from home. Maybe twice a year I drive over 100 miles at once, and then it is usually a MTB trip to Flagstaff area or St George UT, both about 7 hours. I could easily rent a car for those trips and it would be cheaper than the carrying cost of maintenance and insurance on even my fully-paid for truck.

I do love cars--I think instilled by sitting behind my dad in his MGA and spitfire, but I don't want my kids to end up dealing with my stuff.

I just sold my '74 and within a few years plan to sell my '79 trans am. If I can swing it financially, I may do an EV conversion on my Studebaker Avanti, ideal candidate as proven in Gattaca, and it is no longer original as the prior owner put in a LS3 engine. Then I can sell my truck and rent an ICE for big trips, which is the main reason I've kept the truck now (originally I got it to haul tools and material to work on another house and my in-laws house, but we sold ours, and my mother-in-law is about to sell hers).

he was driving the speed limit and signaled his turn, so can't hate on that.
