Vuelta a España discussion (spoilers)

One thread for a grand tour in this case the Vuelta is better than obnoxiously posting 23 individual threads for each stage of the TdF plus two rest days. Across the hall, we have one road racing omnibus for everything from the spring classics to grand tours to the world championships.

I couldn't imagine racing in 120 degree heat... Sounds like hell!

Looks like WVA is going to get another stage win, as he casually drops the breakway group. BEAST!

I would love to Carapaz win the Vuelta. He has the racing panache.

Brutal climb today and Michael Woods is handling it well. Learned today that he was a sub 4 minute miler.

From the person who obnoxiously posted 21 individual TDF stages this year I suggest you stay across the hall. I have been a member across the hall for over 16 years so am I part of the "we" you are referring to?

I am nothing if not organized in my business and personal life. I can find anything I have immediately at home or on my phone or computer. The TDF is so much bigger than any other race, and it is helpful to have individual stages so you can easily read and make comments about a stage. If information is totally out of order it becomes basically worthless.

I don't think the Vuelta is important enough to have more than one thread. So far I have looked at the thread twice by just going to the last page. One thread for road racing is just a wasted, mass of unorganized information. The modern world is a mass of information and without organization the information has little value.

Just one man's opinion.

I liked the individual TDF threads. Through diligent efforts I have also learned to not open threads I don't want to read

3:57:48 to be precise. Incredible. Michael Woods doesn’t win too often, but when he does it’s a super steep climb to finish a stage. He can go really hard for like 20 minutes it seems. I’m sure today was a stage he had been targeting. Very happy for him.

Indeed. More spectacle than spectacular. I’m sure it drags in the crowds and the tv audience but at this rate someone will jump off their bicycle and run past the competition to win before long.

Roglic docked 20 seconds for drafting. I was wondering why Bobke or CV didn't talk about it when the tv motorbike was right next to them.
