I really miss those glorious driftless area roads. Horribly Hilly country.

But more and more driver texting, deteriorating roads with lotsa potholes (although certainly not that one) and a worried spouse after my bad crash in ‘15… I think those days are past.

But still lots to ride and see.

Put some new tires and stem on the Baxter, so I decided to get it out for some single track.

Dunno why you keep trying to sell that bike, you seem to be having so much fun with it.

I just put together a cheaper lightweight hardtail that I am using for the same purposes plus I feel more comfortable towing my son on his trail-a-bike with the parts bin build I threw together.

The Moots is a ton of fun! It has been my designated XC bike for my group singletrack rides, but I haven't really been riding it anywhere else since shuffling around my gravel bikes, so I figured I would see if anybody else wants to give it a go!

You bet. Grizzly Peak. The third best vantage point in the Bay after (1) Mt Tam (ain’t even close) and (2) Mt. Diablo.

I’ve ridden them both. I’m in El Cerrito starting Christmas Day. Knot sure when I’m leaving and do have a road bike there. We should ride.
