Thursday ride photo, a strong cell rolled through the Oldwick area Wednesday evening and there were several road closures due to downed wires. Good signage to keep people safe.

Took the Pure Fix out today on the bike path, but unlike I normally do, rode from my house to get there (truck's in the shop & wife needed her car). Desperately need to go to a smaller rear freewheel, but other than that I have most of the bugs worked out. My 5th time out on this resurrected steed.

Fox Hill Road has nice views . One homeowner, on Fox Hill, was very lucky, a huge tree missing their home during the Wednesday cell that passed through.

Went out for a test ride after doing some work and saw these boys in the back yard so I grabbed a few shots with the DSLR.

Beautiful day to ride yesterday in Connecticut. Out to the lake and back.

Same 20-mile ride with my wife as one of last week's rides, but not as hot today.

Sunday I rode with some friends up Almagre Mtn in Colo Springs. For anyone familiar with the area, this was Gold Camp Rd, Old Stage Rd to the top of Almagre, then Pipeline and Jacks on the way down.

Basically a 24 mile gravel road/jeep-road climb from ~8,000 to ~12,300' and then a ripping 14 mile gravel/singletrack descent back to the truck.
