Near the top of the foothills parkway by the Smokies. From yesterday…today was demoing a Lauf Seigla with AXS Transmission which failed to impress. I unfortunately deleted all the photos of the campion moss colored bike.

Fly pal, I usually visit one of my cycling buddies living in Santa Rosa, CA at least once a year to do some riding in that area. Maybe I can bring along my T-Lab and do like a Clancy family reunion with your Anderson.

for sure! I was super tempted by the T-Lab.. especially with how well the Anderson was represented/packed/etc..

Glad I removed the temptation from you.
I was tempted by the Anderson too but decided against it because it was too much of an overlap with my Taylor that was built around mid-reach brakes and 32-35mm tires.

Friday I went up to the north end of the valley I live in on the Merlin to see how it did on the short but steep climbs there. The Wickwerks 53/34 paired up well with the Sram 11-32 in the back.

Overcast and threatening to rain for a lot of the ride.

Saturday I went back out on the Y-Foil figuring to put in around 30 miles, stayed out for 60.

Finished the week off with over 260 miles on different bikes each day. Today I got the Calfee ready to go and then at the last minute decided to be lazy on the ride and took the Guv'nor out. Only did 31 miles but took about 3 hours doing it. Mainly just cruised around enjoying the day and taking pictures. I did get pretty hot the last hour or so I and I was regretting putting on the black Guv'nor jersey and cyling cap.

Beautiful day, finally. Took my time, just riding around and taking some photos in the Gladstone area.

The lime kilns are massive, dating to circa 1860, and were recently restored.

Then a spin around Ravine Lake before getting onto Pennbrook Road (locally known as Jacob's Ladder, tree lined road photo) for the start of a series of climbs and descents.

Finished the ride with a visit to THE STABLE to look at the Mille Miglia eligible Lancia Zagato at $265,000.

Put this dedicated climbing bike to the test this past weekend. It did not disappoint. It is such enjoyment climbing and descending these hills on the Officine Mattio. It is the finest riding bicycle I have owned to date.
