Glad to see you're able to get back out there.

Excellent weekend.

Some of the best roads in the Garden State on Saturday. So good.

I'm back in the road groove.

Got frog legs?

Gravel ride in Plumas County, California. DIY-ed the Lost and Found route the day after the event. Modified the 100 mile route to 80 miles so I don't run out of water and nutrition. Could have probably stretched what I carried to complete the 100 mile route, but happily exhausted with the 80 miles that I rode.

Back out this morning for 31 miles on the 42 year old Krapf bike. After a wonderful ride on the C40 this old Losa built beauty reminded me just how great steel can ride. Even with only 700 x 23 tires, DT shifters, and only 7 cogs in the back. Not to mention no modern bike can ever be this beautiful. Had an issue with the frame pump and had to improvise securing it by stuff I found on the side of the road. Beautiful morning with temps in the 60's but winds gusting into the mid 20's did kick in for the second half of the ride.

Some firsts for the year, yesterday. First day of the year I felt the heat, rode 2x, and was on tires < 38 mm. The first first wasn't so bad, I think I'm now sold on 1x for nearly all of what I now do, and know that I'm sold on wider tires.

Another short 15-mile ride with my wife this morning before the heat sets in. I will add miles to the rides each week until I'm back in some sort of decent shape.

40 mile ride this morning on the Colnago CT1 I finished building yesterday morning. The one has some potential for sure as it rides just like you would expect a Colnago too. Another beautiful day out here in northern Utah.
