Trails, snakes and shrooms!

It's mushroom season in the Adirondacks and with all the warm weather this week the snakes are sun bathing on the trails.

Pedalers Fork in Calabasas...kind of weird place. I guess it's supposed to be an upscale bicycle restaurant? I was confused when I walked in because everyone eating inside looked like they were right out of the real housewives show, and there was a bike shop inside. And here I was covered in salt stains while everyone else was on their MacBook. Looked like only the employees actually rode their bikes in.

Haha! I actually had looked that place up and was thinking of making a visit sometime. Thanks for the review.

^PF. It's a fun destination. Last time I rode there, I ran into some guys on Topanga Cny Rd and we rolled in about 7 deep. Also, there was a charity event/ride finishing up so there were a ton of cyclists in the parking lot. In any case, I appreciated that the restaurant/cafe doesn't just cater to riders. If I lived in the area, I'd pop in for the occasional beer/brunch/dessert. The dining room is sited above a ravine/brook. Nice setting fa sho.
