Another clear day on MV. I saw these two of these critters munching on the grass south of Edgartown, riding up from Katama. For Bostonians, that's Ernie Boch's giant house in the background, now owned by one of his daughters.

For those that aren't familiar the bridges have what are called footwalks and you must walk your bike.
Maybe a stupid question from a European …aren’t you allowed to ride on the road tarmac (and thus avoid the footwalks)?

Not on these particular bridges across the Delaware River between New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Beautiful day in the desert. Flowers are popping up everywhere including atop the mighty saguaro.

As the new bike gets dialed in, I’m becoming more and more impressed with the frame set and the clunk clunk clunk of ekar. At this point it seems like a steal for the $..

Still amazed people buy those atrocities. Seeing them a lot more frequently around here recently. They look like floating barges bumbling along the street.

Columbia River, Sam Hill Bridge and Mt. Hood. Pic taken on this route: https://buckyrides.com/dalles-mountain-road/

Crossing the bridge is sketch as it's narrow and semi's come rumbling past mere feet away. Other than that, really fun ride!

Not technically a ride per se, but since I ended up volunteering as a course flagger for a local road race I brought along a camera...

Yet another perfect day for riding. I did 23 on the Bingham for fun, then 6 on the Big Dummy for errands, then 6 on the Litespeed to go to a Town event at night. #bikelife

Riding to the ferry to cross the river back to Lisbon. This is next to the mini Christo and what looks like a mini Golden Gate Bridge.

Spring in Maine

My longest ride of the year. 70 chilly, hilly miles with a headwind and a bit of cold rain. Beautiful route through the MidCoast.

Damariscotta lake.

Fish ladder. Alewives arrive in a few weeks.
