Finally got the Crumpton back out on the road yesterday. Such a joy! Weather was perfect--sunny, with the temperature hovering right around 60. Blossoms everywhere in the valleys, snow everywhere in the mountains. Spring is pretty wonderful.

Another spectacular spring day in the mountains yesterday.

Found the snowline!

Also found the mountain solitude I was looking for.

(Though there were clearly lots of other people looking for that same mountain solitude. At the reservoir, we all enjoyed said solitude together.)

Weisan pal, we're waiting for the Crux vs Zebra vs Camel ride report.

Also, no one ever seems to have more fun than @Hummus.

Out on the Pacenti I picked up from Kirk this winter. It's an odd geo with me but really seems to move when I get on it. RD was acting up with lot's of ghost shifting but didn't bother with it during the ride. Another great Spring morning out.

Heehee....a pal came to visit during the Eclipse, I set him up with a ride on the Duetti and took him on my regular route. On our return, we made a slight detour to a ranch known to house some exotic animals but they don't always make an appearance. I guess we got lucky this time!

Couple of Boston from yesterday. Felt like an extreme indulgence that I got to ride 2 hours. #dadlife

This is from Prospect Hill in Waltham, I lived < 1 mile from this hill 20 years ago and used to ride it almost once a week.

I need to ride down there more, it's an underrated hill relative to my area. 6 or 7 minutes to the top and I can barely get up some of it right now being ~10lbs overweight.

Fun ride this past SAturday out of Saratoga Springs . . .

. . . with some Paceline Pals, including Angry Scientist, A1A, PAmtbrider and his lovely better half, HilltopperNY, CNYRider, and some tall thin guy who appeared and insisted on riding with us. Turned out he is areal hammer!

We ended up with 28 miles into the Adirondack foothills, during which yours truly got his Bumble Bee butt dropped repeatedly, Angry got to show off his (allegedly) gold plated cassette, and Hilltopper used his "Magic Hands" to heal PAmtbrider's Ottrott when it mysteriously, temporarily popped a pawl. Then it was back to the thin guy's place for some delicious pizza, informative and entertaining chat, and a chance to check out some new "Big S" products.

A great day!
