Spring has hit in the North country.

Started at 51°, finished at 69°, and that’s with only a 2.5 hr ride. Clothing was being shed rapidly…

A short road leads to a secluded spot, fortunately placed in a preservation program so it won't be developed; Schooleys Mountain ridge in background.

Another rainy weekend here, but managed to sneak out of work for a Friday ride. Minimal cars on Mt. Diablo made for a really fun and fast descent!

Very warm ride today in brilliant sunshine. First ride on more challenging trails with the axs pods doe shifter and dropper. Really happy with how it turned out!

Back out again on the Pinarello this time. The ride turned into more picture taking then riding due to the beautiful morning. Can't wait until things fully green up.

Did the Toad Strangler yesterday. No photos of my own, but BBDave got a shot of me on my bike and one of my local velo club members sent me the other pre ride photo.

41ish miles with 3338 ft of elevation and 54% gravel with temps in the 40's and some rain. Good early season riding with some peanut buttery mud in spots and plenty of pot hole strewn dirt roads. All in all a fun event with some challenging muddy climbs.

My favorite climb, Spring Hill Road, to get up onto the Cherryville plateau; pretty road with nice views. What a beautiful day today.

^Hilltoppenny looks like is going to chop wood instead of doing a muddy ride. Definitely has a sense of ride style.

Went to the barn with my wife this morning, and we both went for a ride.
Mix of doubletrack, level B, and gravel.
Iowa doesn't have mountains or big hills, but it has plenty of punchy steep climbs out of creeks and river valleys. No impressive breathtaking views, but I've grown to love it.

A "couldn't be better" day! 51 miles on the Supersix. I don't merit having a race bike but it sure is fun. The last 10 miles I musta had a good tailwind, I averaged over 18 mph and a bit over 140 bpm too.

Another very nice day, temps in the mid-50Fs. I had a couple of early morning meetings and took the Bob Jackson, which I'm riding with friction shifting on the barcons, practicing for Cino. I took the long way home to get 20 miles in. I had some work to do at the desk, but it was too darn nice out so I grabbed the Bingham and did another 20.

I parked the bike in the first photo in the HC space, since it didn't preclude mentally handicapped
