That's really cool Adam. Stuff like that is super interesting and case study in nature taking back property that mankind has altered. There's an old institutional typed mental hospital around me that's been shut down for a long while now that is really cazy to explore, even just on the outside. i'd like to see this site sometime.

Belated Labor Day ride - Testing out new to me Vamoots SL

Labor Day ride with the wife. San Gabriel Mountains classic and my favorite: Glendora Mountain Road to Glendora Ridge Road to Baldy Village and back. The Forest Service had closed the road to motor vehicles due to fire danger, so it was amazing to share the road with only other cyclists, hikers, a few skateboarders. Fitting first ride on new-to-me Vamoots SL. 56 miles, 6k+ elevation gain.

Always amazing views:

Greeted by two bobcats on the road (another benefit of a car and motorcycle free day). Here's one:

"GRoad" aka road/gravel aka mixed surface ride a couple days ago. 46miles/3300' of climbing, 32miles of incredible pavement/14miles of perfect gravel and less then 10cars/trucks the entire ride. Fall riding in Oregon is pretty incredible.

This bike is awesome! I spent a few nights contemplating buying this one when it was posted. I'm sure it will give you some good times!

Agreed.

Thought long and hard about this one for my wife.

College tuition was the roadblock.

I spent like five months looking at the pictures in the classified thread over and over.

Rode it again today...

It's a keeper.
