Well done! Both of those bikes are amazing and it looks like you have some good spots to ride them!

The PDX esplanade blossoms have been illusive these past few seasons. Weather non conducive.

Last year they tried to open and then windy wet beat them down. This is the best showing these past few seasons and early bike event for me I repeat.

It is the bike spring forward event for me, and sure I am not alone...

Waiting for the snow to melt.

For those in Central Oregon, the east side of 242/McKenzie Pass is being repaved this spring and probably won’t be open until late June. I can’t believe this road is being repaired (thanks to a federal grant).

Wish I was on that snowy road with my fat bike! I have yet to see that much snow since I bought it.

Last 2 weeks it has been warm and I've been road obsessed. Today winter is back, barely above freezing and windy as heck. Always amazing how much warmer it feel in the woods!

Did you say snow and fat bike?
This was really the only activity possible today in upstate NY. It was 19F when I started and 23F when I finished..Had a nice slushy in the bottom of my water bottle after 90 minutes.

Looks like the bay area near where my daughters lives. She lives in El Cerrito.

It's Dublin/Pleasanton, just a little south and a little east of El Cerrito. Tilden Regional Park near El Cerrito has some really nice gravel riding that looks just like that.

The bluebells are blue-ming, the rain is raining, the temperature is rising. Spring is here. What a great day for a riverside ramble with Professor Plump.

I also composed a haiku during the ride:

"Promising bleakness
Of an overcast spring day
A peaceful bike ride"

Hey, purple bike, purple prose!

50 miles on the Supersix on a very nice early Spring day on MV!

Have I said this bike is awesome?
