Mods please delete - image is not uploading…

From yesterday’s shakedown, got the Colorado Legend CRL built back up to hold parts for the next project.

Leaped out to ride in the latest 'warm before the storm.' First time returning to my favorite climb. Oh boy am I slow! Fascinating to see just how much fitness a person can lose. Oh well. It will come back again, right?

The mountains remain beautiful, regardless.

(And I promise to take some proper photos of the rebuilt Yamaguchi once I get around to wrapping these bars.)

Took advantage of an unusually warm day and finally jumped on the Pacenti I got from Kirk at the end of the year. 25 very windy miles after an hour and a half at PT getting worked on.

First outdoor ride this season

Got in 29 miles. Bit cool but nice. Love that first ride. Butt says, no way we're doing two hours. Feet cramp in the first 10 miles. Little ring feels like the big ring. My extra 10 lbs feels like 20. But it felt good!!

Got in a quick shakedown ride on the Intense XC 951 and it's a ripper! It's definitely going to be a really fun bike!

Nice 951, hilltoperny! It is a very capable bike and I see yours has the burlier rear triangle as well.

I bought an xc Expert but at this point only the fork, rear derailleur and shifter remain original Picture is taken 5 minutes from home, a couple weeks ago. We have had a lot of rain in the past week so the trails will have to dry up for a couple days before we head back out.

Thanks erik$! I can tell already that it's going to be a blast to ride on the local trail systems! It's a very good climber and fun on the descents as well.

I got to try it out last evening, but most of the trails here are messy with some ice melting, wet leaves and lots of trees and debris down from the high winds. I am looking forward to getting better acquainted with it soon!

This was taken in front of Gruene Hall in New Braunfels TX. Circa 1878 it's Texas' oldest continuously operating dance hall.

1 March 2024 marked the 3 year anniversary for owning my Bishop.

I absolutely love this bicycle. It just does everything so well and looks so good doing it. I also love it when someone riding next to me looks over and says.... "OMG - LUGS!"

21,100 miles to date and the honeymoon continues!

I drove Route 66 once, from Illinois to the Grand Canyon. Gosh, I'd love to ride it on a bike. How was it --did you feel safe?

Take a look at our route; https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31952759
We weren't on 66 for that long but there were stretches of it closed to traffic.
