I fell in love with riding and fixing up vintage bikes after living in Oakland/Berkeley without a car. I've played the Craigslist roulette game of moving through different bikes in search of the one bike to keep, but of course the search never ends! I think I'm now ready to move on from 70-80s Japanese steel bikes and my current fixed gear towards a more handmade/performance-oriented road bike. Have my eyes out for lightweight steel from builders like Davidson or Independent Fabrication. *Biggest lie - I don't have a bike problem. *How did I find Paceline Forum? : Searching Google for bike tips
