Starting the year off right.

About 25 miles. Cold but sunny and comfortable.

I got out for 2 hours of single track. Cold and sunny. I'll take it!

Switched over to a "real" bike this past week as I rehab the TKA. Picked up a 2005 Bianchi Giro yesterday for dirt cheap and that will be my winter ride. 12 mile shakedown yesterday.

Back out on it for 25 miles today. Don't mind the flat pedals on it, I still don't have enough flexibility on the new knee to clip in yet.

It's been a bad winter in terms of snow this year.

Photos from your rides.

A lot of money in bikes and another Holland and Battaglin are not in the picture.

After a full day of clouds, moist air and chilly temps yesterday, we had some beautiful skies here in Southern California today. It was still relatively cool and even cold in the shade (wore leg warmers and a Castelli Perfetto jacket!). View from Saddle Peak after we finished the final big climb of a 9K foot gain day:

Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful 2024!

NYE ride in New Hampshire. No snow in the mountains, but the low winter light makes everything surprisingly beautiful.

Nice fleet! Is that shot at that coffee shop on the NB side of PCH toward the north end of Encinitas? Great spot if so.

Threw my lightweight carbon MTB wheels on my new Instinct and hit the single track. They dropped the weight of the bike over a lb and really made climbing enjoyable!
