2008 Speedvagen with 11s Campy Super Record, Lightweight Gipfsturm tubular wheels, Darimo stem and short reach bars. Weighs just over 15 pounds with pedals and cages.

If you looks closely, the skewers are silver Record from a long time ago, probably need to change them out for black, but these work for the moment.
What fork is that? Looks nice to see a curved fork or do my eyes deceive me?

Your eyes do not deceive you, there is a curve to the fork. I’m not actually sure what brand/model this fork is, but it looks to me like maybe a Reynolds Ouzo Pro. I’m not the original owner of the frameset but it appears to me to be the original fork to the frame and is painted to match with Speedvagen unicorns and logo on the fork.

So nice. Not sure where I’ve heard it, but early Speedvagen frames supposedly have an extra light and lively ride quality to them (maybe it was here). Maybe they used fewer coats of paint or something. A classic for sure!

Bliss indeed - sitting on a precious few remaining Arenbergs myself. And like the Cadbury Easter Egg ad used to say, “when they’re gone, they’re gone.”

My beloved Blue Zank on the road again. Am I crazy for wanting to upgrade these parts to SR 12 Speed?

(excuse the dust, getting this one cleaned up...)

Agreed. The closing of Veloflex is a huge loss. There is just no substitute for a great pair of tubulars on nice wheels.

Can't speak exactly to SR12, but I have Chorus 12 on my Item 4 and it's been wonderful.
