Your eyes do not deceive you, there is a curve to the fork. I’m not actually sure what brand/model this fork is, but it looks to me like maybe a Reynolds Ouzo Pro. I’m not the original owner of the frameset but it appears to me to be the original fork to the frame and is painted to match with Speedvagen unicorns and logo on the fork.

So nice. Not sure where I’ve heard it, but early Speedvagen frames supposedly have an extra light and lively ride quality to them (maybe it was here). Maybe they used fewer coats of paint or something. A classic for sure!

My beloved Blue Zank on the road again. Am I crazy for wanting to upgrade these parts to SR 12 Speed?

Agreed. The closing of Veloflex is a huge loss. There is just no substitute for a great pair of tubulars on nice wheels.

Can't speak exactly to SR12, but I have Chorus 12 on my Item 4 and it's been wonderful.

Well, personally, my answer to "is it crazy for me to upgrade <blah blah> campy to <blah blah> SRAM?" would be 'yes' but I know I don't speak for all of Paceline.

Haha. this bike and these parts are 9 years old ( just found this old photo), I got it in 2015 it would seem, time flies. I guess I would like to try 12 speed and some places have had some deals on 12 speed rim brake parts, I'm mostly interested in improved shifting, and this will likely be the last Campy rim group.

It's a wonderful frame - shame that Mike ceased building. FWIW, having gone through C10, C11, and C12, the upgrade is not really worth it if you're happy with the cassette and chainring options available with C11, but if you're jonesing for an upgrade, the SR12 crank is real nice - tradeoff is that the RD is hideous
