2nd ride of the day, a short loop in the park, first was a road ride up the hills around Camelback Mtn; beautiful weather!

This is me telling kids not to do drugs. I'm sitting backwards with my helmet on backwards so they know I'm hip to their jive and not just another fat cat stiff in a dry cleaned suit.

Short 28 mile ride with my wife on a nice fall day in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, it's going to get cold next week.

You two look like you have so much fun on lovely roads. Love to see it.

Weather was amazing today. The end of the line I think for the real warm stuff.

Yes, thanks Nick. I am really lucky to have a wife that is into road riding. Riding alone just doesn't work for me anymore. Thanks for all the great posts with great bikes from up in the northeast. Dave

Near the top of four peaks dirt road. 17 miles of descending from this photo (interrupted by multiple short climbs)

Nice! 17 miles of descending is a concept I can get behind!

Is this a road shared/frequented by other traffic like atv's, dual sprort motos, etc, or can you just care-free let it rip on the descent?

don't know how it went for likes2ridefar but i did that ride earlier this year and even early on a weekday there was a good amount of atv traffic and the like, one of the most well known areas for it from the phoenix metro area

it's the main problem with most good az gravel routes, you're likely gonna be dealing with a lot of off roading traffic and a considerable portion are going to act inconsiderate

First semi-proper ride on my Coast Randonneur. Left at 4 am for 100 miles. Best foliage scenes were when it was two dark to photograph, of course. Great bike and perfect morning. Felt fresh as a daisy after.

I’ve done it three times now and experienced almost no traffic each time. I did it purposely on off times and those I saw once none and the other a few but today was perfect weather and Saturday prime time. I started around 11am and saw maybe 10 in total passing me. I let it rip on the descent and have each time…this time on a mtb I could really see what the bike can do.

When you park it’s loaded with a staging area for many 4 wheel rentals on flat beds plus jeeps and dirt bikes. I left the first time I saw this. I’m glad I returned. Once you leave the staging area, I’ve not had any issues. I knew heading in people would be shooting in a few locations but otherwise it’s mostly been very isolated not seeing anyone.

Arroyo Fest

It’s been 20 years since the last closure of the 110 Freeway in Pasadena, so this was a must do ride for me. The experience was akin to the beach bike path on steriods, not a good idea to take pics while cycling. City streets were closed off too. Wonderful to see so many on bikes of so many varieties. A coffee stop is always part of this group’s rides.

Thanks Angry,
Can't believe that bike is over 10y.o. now, it has served me well.
The photos are from my recent fall adventure in Brussels and the surrounding areas, a trip I postponed since the pandemic. Did a little troll hunting in Flanders, in Boom; a ride out to Waterloo's battlefield, some park where the path cut through the water, nite riding thru Cinquantenaire parque Brussels... the frites, the waffles, the beers, e bikes are slowly taking over...
