A little under 30 miles with my wife on a cooler day in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia - early fall is here.
A little gravel: The Alliance continues to be a perfectly smooth ride: |

A beautiful fall day, empty dirt roads and fresh wild apples served roadside.
What more could I ask for? |

First decent weather in a very long time, so I had to go out.
Unfortunately I hit the ground pretty hard today, but the helmet did its job. Thanks, Giro. |

More adventures in Angeles National Forest just outside of Los Angeles. I started this ride from my house pre-sunrise, heading up Angeles Crest Highway in the morning mist to hit the dirt and ultimately passing 10,000 feet of elevation gain in the first 60 miles of riding and hike-a-bike (that was rough).
