Just cruising around on the newly built Krapf bike shooting some pictures for most of the ride. Finally started doing some speed intervals on it later in the ride. The bike takes off well and seems to hold speed once there. I'm what's holding it back.

Started with a plan to ride out to Stockton and the alleged last covered bridge in NJ but the clouds looked a bit ominous so I modified my route.

4th of July weekend
Got to ride with Evan Boyle for 50+ miles Saturday through Saratoga County. Just turned 19 and finished 4th at USAC Nationals Senior TT Champs! Beaten only by a few world tour pros. Great kid and wonderful family. The rest are the usual suspects from the day.

Out for 50 miles today on my wonderful riding David Kirk Terraplane. This bike is such a joy to ride. Even did about 8-9 miles up one of the local mountain climbs to test the leg recovery from the TKR. It's still not ready for the serious mountains. Beautiful morning out though with cools temps most of the ride. Lots of water still flowing down the mountains as the snow melt is still going on.
       Spring flooding took out this bridge on the bike path. End of the road for now!

Back out today on the Olma Forma team bike. First serious ride on it since I got it this winter. This one is too small for me really as my back noticed when I got into the drops. A pretty good ride though that seemed to react and carry speed quite well. Some ghost shifting reared it's head late in the 30 mile ride so I need to sort that out.
The bike upgraded with the Fulcrum wheels I picked up here from TomP  The reservoir is finally full again after one crazy winter here.    Snowbasin still has snow up top  Snowfed creek still flowing  More of the bike on the route

Got out on my Stumpjumper today after swapping to new wheels and tires. It was rooty and wet so didn't push it, but really enjoying this set up and looking forward to putting it through it's paces!

Been riding my '86 Sequoia all over the Boulder area this week. The heat and elevation are making me suffer, but it's real purdy and the gravel is very smooth.

These are from today's full shakedown ride of the 41 year old Krapf SwissMaster 82 I built up this winter. Yesterday I got in the handbuilt wheels for it from Oldpotatoe so of course I had to take it out to see how the bike felt. Another wonderful old vintage ride that was soooooo much better than the Trek 5200 I was on yesterday.
Mostly Suntour Superbe drivetrain friction shifting a 6 speed setup:    The plan tomorrow is to ride up the mountain in the background here:  In the 90's I used to run this ridgeline after work quite often:  Reservoir is full this year:    Coming back into Eden:
