Looks like you have a stereo system on there!

I have an extra set of Luv Handles, but as you said they're a bit wide for her, and I'd hate to cut them. Anyway I'm sure I could come up with something.

What would be intriguing is if I could fit 27.5's on there!

Ha!

That is a pic I pulled from the web simply for illustration. I think it's a controller for an e-assist unit.

Started re-doing my Kelly Deluxe. First trip around the block was very promising indeed! Gonna be a fun bike in our family. It's primarily my baby trailer puller but will work for my wife and our adventures no problem with a little less stem and seatpost.

Ultimately probably black, but what color bar tape?

This is badass! I have been eyeing a Kelly 26er on IG/PinkBike for a minute, I want to build a rigid MTB instead of the rowdy hardtail I currently have.

I say black tape, but maybe a dark green if you can find one that matches the seatpost collar?

Thanks! Have to say I am very glad I got my Kelly. It rules. Was great with flat bars too but this seems even better.

If it plays its hand right, it will get a Dynamo wheelset some day. I don't know if I would want a rigid MTB to be my main MTB though. This one seems well suited for allroad, bikepacking, and adventurous urban riding though.

Although it began life as a rigid 26er MTB, like fellowpicker my Deluxe now does duty in drop bar 650b mode.

This is worth the click to see this bike. Very nice, right down to the hint of green on the rims.

Nick, are you still liking your rat trap pass’d MTB? I’ve got a sweet diamondback ascent here that I’m thinking of trying out for mixed surface duty. It’s got some nice steel tubing and a threadless fork already. Are bar ends a liability in this use case? I’m wondering if a jones bar setup might be a nicer middle ground. Could keep the grip shift and brake levers.

This cheap project would help save money to get the wife a fancy carbon gravel rig.
