CS56 1010

25th Anniversary edition. Competition red and yellow with a black F-1 fork. Gorgeous paint job.

D/A 9 speed components.

I live next to the W&OD trail in Virginia outside Washington, and ride every morning unless raining or icy. I enjoy my Csi, and appreciate the master craftsmanship so evident in the build, I intend this to be my last bike.

beautiful!

the signature really seals the deal, too.
reminds me of meeting ben for the first time.
we were just chatting about bikes
prior to the davis phinney saturday ride
in cincinnati a few years back...
...then he got out a permanent marker
and asked me to hold bikes while he signed them...
i had no idea who i was talking to--
and was too embarrassed to have him sign my bike, too.

Dave,

Maybe not quite our size up size, could use a tad longer TT and longer head tube. As you can see, I have the seat (rail) adjustment back, so not Ideal fit, but close enough. Great for short rides 20-40 miles and just cruisin around. Had to do a repair on upper seat (post) lug where the tensioner is for seatpost...so far seems to hold my 195-200 lb ass.
BTW, your Taylor is a Beauty!

Csi?

I had this question as well -- my Blue Serotta has Serial number CC58 1190. The previous owner (bike pictured with his build) thought it was a CSI, but as you can see it doesn't have "CSI" written on the top tube.

It's a custom (top tube is about 56 cm), but I've never been exactly sure what model it was. Beautifully made bike, with the 1/2 fillet brazed and 1/2 lugged tube junctions.

Does anyone know for sure what model this is? Pete?

Thanks in advance for any info anyone may have! :-)
