Whoa those do look nice but at least on all the CL's in a big radius of NYC I don't see anything not quite expensive. Curious how much were you able to get a tool chest for by being patient / lucky ?

Electric 12v Li-Ion battery... I have a small 12v Li-Ion drill and it is super handy and does almost everything I need for bikes and other small projects. The cord on my dremel is sometimes a bother... wonder how the battery life is for this?

Charging is very fast (30 minutes?) and I always have an extra on the charger. If I need more power or run time, I can dig out a Foredom or angle grinder. |

Value priced tool chests.. Check out Harbor Freight. Their toolboxes and chest are very well regarded.

A day early, and not new per se, but been getting some use out of my set the last few days. Big fan of these. Thanks to OldP and all the rest for the recommendation:

Thanks for the welcome note rePhil. I was going to mention GarageJournal, but that's kinda like giving someone their first, free, taste of crack ;-)

I recently got these Hex Pro pivoting hex and torx wrenches. Hex Pro is a Bondhus brand with a lifetime warranty. Really great tools.

Tuesday Tool Thread
Olfa knife... nice slim blades... kinda like a cross between a hardware store utility knife and an X-acto hobby knife.
