It was very short for now, just down to the end of the street. 18 degrees out and I wanted to make sure the IGH would shift. But even though it's all still snow choked here I plan on navigating a few miles around the neighborhood on this.

Moon setting at the beginning of this morning’s ride — 3,600 feet of climbing in 30 miles. The 52/36 chainrings with an 11-30 cassette was OK but my cadence was too low and I was mashing the pedals. Going to switch to a 50/34 and see how it goes.

Some friends visiting for their self-organized Malibu training camp this week, they joined my group ride into the San Gabriels to enjoy some (long overdue) fresh tarmac. Road closure prevented a trip up to Mt. Wilson, but an absolutely perfect day otherwise.
