We seldom get any large amount of snow on Mt. Diablo , CA
Normally 10 degrees colder on top. so when a cold rain passes thru my area Walnut Creek at nite there will be a dusting of snow on top.
But has you can see the snow is beyond just a dusting
Notice the bicycle Ted rode.
That is incredible; hope those were snow tires.

Almost one year ago, I tried to hike up Mt Diablo after some rain and we were stopped by the mud like the Russian Army in Ukraine.

From this morning. This is usually a trickle in our desert, but this winter in SoCal has felt like the Bay Area.

Riding the LA Marathon route at 4 a.m. today. Some of the wheelie skills on display were incredible.

The weather has been all over the place this winter so when a opportunity to ride appears I try to jump on it. Saturday was mid 40's and overcast.. go time.
I managed to get in a good 50 mile ride up the coast and back to the house.
The Cinelli received a few tweaks so I put it through the paces and stopped for a few beauty shots. Despite being pounded by the wind it was the best ride I have had this winter.

I will post the changes in the appropriate thread.

Clear skies and plenty of wind. Pix from Radar Hill. 175' in 0.3 mile, excellent descent for bedding the new Growtac brake pads.
