5 degrees Fahrenheit, but hadn't been out since Monday. Bundled up and did a flat 15 miles on the canalway trail.

Mild weather after our 2-day winter ice snap here in the lower Hudson Valley. Ice still on the reservoir. And I'll never become jaded about looking west from the top of the Croton Dam, the river winding a few miles further into the Hudson River estuary.

Today's ride was shorter than we planned due to the wind. It was mild (62 degrees) but when warm air displaces colder air, oh oh.
