What handlebars are you using? Looks like a round drop but still fit the Campagnolo hoods really well, which is not easy.

FSA Energy Traditional 40 linked here. Chorus 11 on this one and c12 play nice with the same bars on another.

Hard to get a picture that shows any difference but I trimmed the bar on my Space Horse last night from 750mm all the way down to 640mm. (The max it had markings for). Handling was just not right with it long, comfort was only OK.

Now it’s just perfect. Maybe better than it handled with a drop bar, and riding to work with a backpack it’s definitely more comfortable and better handling. Super happy I did it even though it took about 30 minutes of cutting.

I need to look for a front rack and/or basket. If I could just throw my work bag in a basket that would make things even more comfortable.

I also need to think about replacing the SKS Fenders. They’re the only thing I’ve had since the day I bought the bike and while they work fine they look beat up and it’s almost impossible to keep them straight at this point.

Riding chill in street clothes it took me maybe 3-4 minutes longer than driving the car.
