Photos from your rides.

Spent my day off well this week.

Went down to Ripplebrook, OR and headed south on NF-46 right in the heart of the Mt Hood National Forest. Even spent a couple minutes in the Willamette National Forest. Two national forests one ride!

And of course had to cap it off with a swim in the clackamas.

Mom, Mom, wait up, this guy's taking my picture! I'm going to be famous! I'm going to be on the internet! Mom, slow down,

I was almost home and Mom and 2 fawns were in the road, no hurry, I had time to stop, get out my phone, and take a couple shots. I guess they know me by now.

Hardware Ranch

Warning: first time posting in this thread. Content may not reflect the actual feelings of epicness experienced on the ride

We finally got a bit of cloud cover after two months of hot, cloudless Saturdays, which also meant a wonderful tailwind going up Blacksmith Fork Canyon out of Cache Valley, Utah. It's only a 50 mile/1200' ride from my place to the top and back, but having only had a real road bike for three months it always feels really good to pound through it. The traffic in the canyon is relatively light and there are several great places to pause and enjoy if you want. I'm still trying to remind myself to enjoy the ride and not just power through the ride, so the photos aren't all that great. Still a fantastic ride to get your blood pumping.

Ran across this quiet winery on todays ride. Seems something was going on as a few other bikes were there.

The end of summer vacation means that it's time to help my wife the teacher get her classroom ready for the new school year. School is 20 miles from home, so it was a good chance to get a ride in too. Thankful for a decent tailwind on the way home.
FYI - no bikes allowed in class once school starts

Riding and drinking with friends.... time well spent!

I had a chance to do some great riding (mtn and road) in Door County, WI. Very nice road riding. Very few cars, great roads, superb scenery, some hills.

Pic from four days ago. Did same ride this .A.M., breezy 53°, with a hint of smoke from the Soberness fire to the south.
